Copy and Paste Logic Bricks in Blender

On last post, i've write about Basic Object Movement in Blender Game Engine. Today i want to share simple tips and trick in Blender Game Engine, copy and paste logic bricks. It will help when you need to duplicate many logic in one object to another object.

I am using cube and monkey mesh on this tutorial. You can download cube with logic keyboard and adding Monkey / Suzanne mesh into it.

Select the monkey first and then with pressing shift key, select the cube that have logic bricks. IMPORTANT You must select the monkey without logic first.

After that, press space and write 'copy logic bricks to selected', after do that you will get the monkey have all logic on cube. :)

  1. Hey man! SERIOUS thanks for posting this, saved me tons of fiddly work :-) !!!

    A nice way to avoid that awkward spacebar-search for people needing this a lot is to make a new shortcut in User Preferences » Input » 3d View » Object Mode » +Add New... Just type "object.logic_bricks_copy" (no quotes) where it says "None" and assign some unused key combo. Save User Preferences at the bottom if it works & you like it.

    It's a shame it can't copy to self or *add* to existent (just does that bulk copy from scratch) but I guess we can't have everything!
