Its common question that people ask to me, for backpacker i recommend to use JR Tokaido-Sanyo Line 新快速 towards Himeji. It cost only ¥560 for 30 minutes on the train. Why not use JR Pass? All Budget Arround Osaka in 3 Days

I just spent about ¥15.984 for three days in Osaka. Its just about 147.05 or less than $150. All in include food, transportation and hostel!

You can choose three way from Tokyo to Kyoto! By plane, shinkansen or bus! For backpacker like me, i prefer choose bus. Because bus more cheaper than plane or shinkansen and with the long trip on the bus (especially night bus) you can save money for hostel! I've booking willer bus about two month before departure. Just about JPY 4800, normal fare is about JPY 9000. Almost 50% discount if you book early!

This is miracle! My 2D sightseing pass still can be use on third day. Its because on the first day i never put my ticket to the ticket machine. I just showing the ticket to the bus driver. I dont know why the bus driver dont tell me to put ticket to the machine. So i got one day bonus with this ticket!
