After spent about 5 days in Tokyo, i move to Kyoto for the next city. I stay here about 3 days. So today i want share with you about 3 Day Itinerary with budget travel arround Kyoto!
Travel arround Kyoto for 3 Day i just spent about ¥16.000 that means about $150. All in include transportation, food and hostel. So you can enjoy Kyoto with backpacker style!
How To Get Kyoto from Tokyo?
You can choose three way from Tokyo to Kyoto! By plane, shinkansen or bus! For backpacker like me, i prefer choose bus. Because bus more cheaper than plane or shinkansen and with the long trip on the bus (especially night bus) you can save money for hostel! I've booking willer bus about two month before departure. Just about JPY 4800, normal fare is about JPY 9000. Almost 50% discount if you book early!

On this post i want share my travel itinerary travel arround Kyoto for backpacker, complete with the budget that i've spent during the trip. I hope it can help you plans your itinerary on Kyoto! This jurney start at 5 AM after the bus from Tokyo stop at Kyoto Station!
Kyoto Day 1
Too early when the bus stop at Kyoto station. Waiting Kyoto Station Information center open about 9.30 AM, so we decide to change the route. We will going to Nara first. We need to buy Kyoto Sightseeing Pass 2 Day to save money for bus ticket. We dont go before get it. Better going Nara than doing nothing for waiting the counter open.

Day 3 Kyoto
This is miracle! My 2D sightseing pass still can be use on third day. Its because on the first day i never put my ticket to the ticket machine. I just showing the ticket to the bus driver. I dont know why the bus driver dont tell me to put ticket to the machine. So i got one day bonus with this ticket!
