Have plan travel arround tokyo this year? Last year when i going to Japan for traveling arround 12 days, i spent about 6 days in Tokyo! I've been looking for best accomodation arround Tokyo, the first two days i decide to stay arround asakusa. Because i buy tokyo metro two day pass! So on this post i want share with you, four recomendation hostel that i've looking for arround asakusa. But, finally i decide to stay in Enaka Asakusa Central Hostel in Tokyo. Its best hostel for me in Asakusa with cheap price for backpacker.

Enaka asakusa central hostel is a brand new hostel that open in May 2016  and located near Asakusa subway station. You need walk about 3 minute from the subway. I've try to stay here for two night and its really worth place to stay! If you solo backpacker i recomend this hostel for you! Seriously!

You can get mix dorm with clean shared bathroom. Many facilites here such as kitchen, hairdrayer, toiletries, towel that you can request new one everyday and free luggage storage. The bed and bathroom is really clean! You can also walking arround asakusa during night to enjoy Sensoji temple at night. You also can see Tokyo Sky Tree from the rooftop of the hostel. The staff friendly and can speak your language!

I just choose single capsule bed, its bigger than common capsule hostel in Tokyo such as Grids hostel at Akihabara. I got price about $25/night last year!

it’s located in Kuramae, 10 minutes walking to Kaminarimon gate or a minute to Kuramae subway. Super convenient going place to place in Tokyo from this hostel. They have spotless bathroom. You can feel warm homey atmosphere in here. WiFi, city maps are included. Shared kitchen, iron/iroan board, and washing machine are free to use. There’s a TV in common area. If you lucky enough, they have curry night, sake, and wine which is free. The lockers are free but you need to bring your own lock for security. Friendly and helpful staffs speak English. 

There are many room that you can choose, the price start from $27 for the bunk bed till about $300 for the 6 private room with 6 bunk bed and private toilette

Located in Asakusa Area and just need a way to get Narita/ Haneda Airport. Your morning wake up with Sumida Rivers would be amazing. Super clean, safe, and comfy beds with curtains area are in upstairs. The cafe/bar downstairs has friendly vibe and looks stylish. You can make local friends in there. Don’t forget their tasty pizza. In case you want something different to eat, this hostel is surrounded by shops and restaurants as well. 

Nui Hostel & Bar Lounge have four type of acomodation. The cheapest one is bunk bed mix dormitory for 8 people is arround $28 and the most expensive is double bed with sumida river view that cost you about $83.


Sakura Hostel Asakusa


This hostel is easy to find because it located in nice tourist area, Asakusa. You just need 5 minutes  by walk to get Senso-ji temples or 10 minutes walk to get Asakusa station. Free luggage storage if you need ones and they can help you to arrange various activities and trips during your stay. The price included shared bathroom, Friendly English speaking staff always there 24 hours.  

Sakura hostel asakusa have 6 different room type that you can choose. The cheapest one is bunk bed in mix dormitory that cost you aboue $23 / night and the most expensive is Family room with bunk bed and shared bathrom for 8 people that cost you about $300 for 8 people.
