Long time not using Blender, it's time to using Blender again for animation. I'll try to create logo animation for university, i hope it can using for officially animation logo for opening or ect :D.  The logo containt circle part and patch into sphere. I using shrinkwrap for this logo, but after use the modifier and apply this modifier the circle is not like circle. Some vertices is moving out of track and make the logo not circle again. So i need to make it circle manually.

So, i just must selection every vertices on circle and make it to sphere with shortcut ALT Shift S then i set the value of to sphere to 1 (one). My problem is how to using rotate selection in Ubuntu? i am using ubuntu 11.10 with GNOME Shell. I trying search layout configuration for this problem like on ubuntu 10.04. But the GUI so different and i can't find the tool.

But, after searching on blenderartist, i found a solution but it's complicated. As usual i just using ALT with click to select arround vertices, but with this solution i must using windows button + ALT + Click. it need 3 button to call the select arround command. Before it, i just set my keyboard layout like this

My friend tell to me how to fix it with gconf editor. Now i want share new way to fix it, and it's better than first way.

• Install gconf-editor with sudo apt-get install gconf-editor. Wait installation progress until finish.

• After that, press Alt F2 and write gconf-editor

End of first semester in EEPIS has arrived. In Monday, we have last semester test before get long holiday. New year's eve always come with rain. I don't know why. It's make me lazy to hang out. It make me thinking about task in my study. The task must be finished 2 weesk after last semester test. i fell something  blank without documentation of project. In this blog i want to share process the making of web design that i will do. Maybe someone here want give me suggest to my project.

I get task for creating web design about software. Here i will creating open source software directory website like sourceforge. Maybe the concept will be similiar to sourceforge, download.cnet and other website about software.

Before writing the code, i created a draft of web design layout. I will use HTML, CSS, Javascript and JQuery. Here is the pictures of my concept

I will use 2 column layout wiht the menu on the left of content. Picture above just image of the index page. Menu in left will using JQuery, and i will make if floating. So, if visitor scrolling the web, menu's will be scroll too.

In the software category i would also using JQuery Image slider. In one category will be displayed only 3 software, but visitor can click next to choose another software in category. JQuery image slider will be use for it.

The content of this web will be look like this

On the content page will be given official logo of the software with official information like software website, developer, download link, forum, support and others.

In the related software will contain software in same category. For example, I am opening animation software Blender, then the related software will show the option animation software in same category such as pencil, synfig and other.

Maybe it's concept of my design web that i will make. Give me comment if you want suggest me for make great layout or concept. I think deadline of this project is 23rd January.
