Control speed Blender video editor is a tool to control the speed of video duration. We can accelerate or slow down the speed of video. There is i want to share the concept of this feature. I've write the concept of speed control in VSE using Bahasa. I want try to write it into english there.

Shutter is my favorite tool for taking screesnhot of my desktop, especially for creating step by step tutorial. With shutter i can edit directly on shutter after taking screenshot, so i can get the final image after taking screenshot and edit what i need when i save the image. This tool really cool!

Ubuntu have power in community arround the world, they are connected with the Internet. As we know, we need internet connection to get software update, install software and other update from the community. Although we can install the software from repository DVD. But we still need connect to the internet to get newest software update. A week ago, my friend tell me about apt-web. Apt-web help us to get software update with the dependencies.

Gimp 2.8 is released, but on Ubuntu repository you just can get GIMP 2.8, i don't know why the Ubuntu repository not update the GIMP version. If you want to get GIMP 2.8 in your ubuntu machine, just using ppa repository. I am using otto-kesselgulasch ppa to update GIMP to 2.8. There is step by step how to install gimp 2.8 through the ppa.

I've write about how to install svn Blender update on Ubuntu. Iam using cheleb blender ppa to update it. But, cheleb ppa now is offline, we can't update news svn build from this ppa. But new blender ppa with name irie now available for replace the cheleb ppa.

You can install Blender from Ubuntu 12.04 repository, but you just get Blender 2.62. In main site you can download Blender 2.63a stable release.  And you just can download portable Blender for Linux on the main site. But with the ppa we can download and install Blender on the system. You can open Blender file with clicking the blend file. Its different when you are using portable blender apps. You must open blender first and then open the blend file from the blender.
