How to Setting VPN Client on Ubuntu - VPN means Virtual Private Network that can help you to hide your IP and location. So, hacker can't steal and sniff your personal identity or your financial data. With VPN you will be safe from security issues. Because many computer was infected by backdoor spyware that always sending private data to data center. So they collect and save your data that can used someday.

With VPN I can open the page that blocked from my ISP. So i am free to access everything on internet.  Be freedom in internet. Today, I am using Ubuntu 12.10, and on this post i will try to write how to setting up VPN on Ubuntu.

Search the VPN service, you can choose free vpn or premium vpn. After that you will gate administrative data about the VPN like gateway, username, and password. After get it, open your network manager and create new vpn connection (Point-to-Point Tunneling  Protocol (PPTP). Input the data from VPN (gateway, username, password) like this.

Select Advance, and activate the Point-to-Point Tunneling  Protocol (MPPE) like the image below.

After do that, connect to the internet first and then connect to VPN. So you will browse internet from VPN.
