phpMyAdmin Error - Because of my website server down, i have an idea to make little experiment with LAMPP. Just for take experiment with wordpress on localhost. I have write how to install lampp and wordpress on Ubuntu. But yesterday i have installed new Lampp and getting this error when acces phpMyAdmin.

phpMyAdmin:  MySQL said: #2002 No such file or directory. The server is not responding (or the local server’s socket is not correctly configured).

On this post, i just want to share how to fix it. Are you confuse with that? Me too. Because it's new installation of LAMPP, but why? Panduaji.com trying to search the solution and try many way. Then i found the answer. You just need to stop the mysql service with

 sudo service mysql stop

After do that just restart or start again the LAMPP with this code

 sudo /opt/lamp/lampp restart

stop mysql then restart lampp

After do that, try to acces phpMyAdmin again, and i hope you can access withour getting error message like me. The big question, why i need to stop the mysql service first? Is's because i have another mysql server that outside lampp and the mysql run automatically when computer start. So I need stop it frist before running lampp. I hope this tutorial will help everyone to solve phpMyAdmin Error. Good luck ;)
