Link Object on Blender

Link Object on Blender - Maybe many people still confused with link and append on Blender. If you still not understand, check it on Blender Wiki. Many friend asking me, how to linking object on Blender? Because after the call the link, the object appear but they can't move the object. So the position same with original object.
When you try to link, you must give attention to these things:
I always using group to linking an object. Because if i don't use it, sometime i can't move the object like my friend problem. Maybe anyone there can give me why it's?
Save the file near with the file that will call the group with linking. Never change folder structure, because can't make broken link, so your object didn't appear. If you are using linking, i prefer to use project folder, maybe look like the picture below.
You can link obect with File > Link and select name group in your blend file that we create before.
After linking procecss, open File > External Data > Make All Path Relative, so you dont need update your folder link when work on other computer. But you must remember, don't change structure of files and folder

- Object name that you will be linked, make sure that name can representation the object. For example chair, dont name it with Cube.003 or etc, change the name into MOD_Chair (maybe). It will help us to know what type object that we linking
- Group name that you will be linked, same with the reason of first things. It will help us to linking an object.
Let's try to create object linking. First, create an object that you will be linked into other blend file. Change the name of object then create a group from the object with CTRL G. Don't forget to rename gorup name that can represent the object
