How To Go To Pattaya From Bangkok

Its about 2 month after write about interesting place in Blitar. Now i want write in english (again) on this blog. On this blogpost, i want share about PattayaVan. Its not a sponsored post ora advertising. I just want to write review base on my experience when i visited Bangkok and Pattaya.
If you are coming to Bangkok about week, you will be bored if just looking arround Bangkok. Maybe you need to go different city arround Bangkok. Pattaya is our choice for visit about two days.

PattayaVan From Bangkok to Pattaya (Round Trip)
Dont be confuse with transportation from Bangkok to Pattaya. You can choose many public transportation such as Taxi, Bus, Van, Train and Airplane.
I think airplane is the worst choice, because you just need to take about 2 hours from Bangkok to Pattaya. Its more expensive than another choice. For Taxi, you need to pay about 1000 Bath one way.
Three best and cheap transportation from Bangkok to Pattaya is Train, Van and Bus. There are many considerations before deciding I had to go by Bus, Van or Train. After thinking many times, i choose PattayaVan for round trip Bangkok - Pattaya. There are some point that make me choose PattayaVan.
Easy Access to PattayaVan Terminal

On Februari, I go to PattayaVan Terminal near Victory Monument BTS Station. But last week my friend tell me that PattayaVan terminall is move to Mo Chit 2 Bangkok Notrhern Terminal near Chachutak Weekend Market.

So, if you choose Van Service to Pattaya, you need to go Northern Bus Terminal Bangkok. You can wait under Mo Chit 2 BTS Station but im not recomend it. Because sometimes the van is full when leaving the station. You need more time to another van to come.

From Bangkok to Pattaya you just need to pay about 92 Bath / person. Its cheaper than bus ticket to pattaya that you need to pay about 105 - 300 Bath (depending on the class). If you want to cheaper ticket, you can choose Train. But the train only go once a day from Bangkok to Pattaya and Pattaya to Bangkok. Train ticket is about 30 - 45 Bath. Im not sure
Van is Coming Every 30 Minutes
Its really helpful if you dont have fix schedule. You can come anytime to go to Pattaya. But, make sure that you come between 06.00 AM until 08.00 PM. You dont need to book the ticket, because PattayaVan don't accept ticket booking. Just come, buy and pay on the terminal. If you come from Pattaya, you pay on the gas station not at the terminal. This van will be stop on gas station near Pattaya. It takes about 2 hours drive from Bangkok to Pattaya or Pattaya to Bangkok.
Reason to Choose Another Transport
PattayaVan is good enough, but you need to take another transport if you are
- Didn't like speeding drive, because the driver of PattayaVan is really fast. Sometimes it make me scarry. Seriously.
- You bring to much stuff. PattayaVan dont have big space for big stuff. So, if you bought big backpack more than 60L, you need to pay 2 seat.
