Install Blender AddOns

Blender is one of the open source software that gets overwhelming support of His community. Lots of great things born of communities around the world, do not be surprised if we could get free models and tutorials on BlenderGuru Blendswap, BlenderDiplom and much more. Besides community also developed many addons or plugins which can simplify what we do in Blender. Sometimes, many who do not know or can not install / use addons in Blender. there are 3 steps to install addons in Blender.

Download Blender Addons

You can download Blender addons for free, one of which is in Blender Plugin Repository: http://www-users.cs.umn.edu/~mein/blender/plugins /

Actually in Blender already some plugin installed, but not activated. To find out how to activate the plugin directly read How to Enable Blender AddOns below

How To Install Blender AddOns

We just need to do 3 things

Open Blender> File> User Preferences> AddOns
Install from File and then browse the file that we downloaded addons
Okay, now activate installed addons to enable addons

Activate Blender AddOns

Tick the checkbox that is on the addons will automatically make the addons active. But if Blender is closed, it will return no addons active. Save User Settings addons will make the arrangements that have been converted into default.

IMPORTANT!! Please note before save as default, be sure not to open the project file or any other file, as the file is open by default when you run Blender. If you do not want to open other than the default of Blendernya, my advice is open Blender, right set of addons and then save as default.

Hopefully there is no problem to install addons in Blender is quite easy and FREE.

Tethering on Android ICS Phone

Tethering allow us to use mobile phone as modem. There is definition of tethering from wikipedia:

Tethering refers to connecting one device to another. In the context of mobile phones or Internet tablets, tethering allows sharing the Internet connection of the phone or tablet with other devices such as laptops. Connection of the phone or tablet with other devices can be done over wireless LAN (Wi-Fi), over Bluetooth or by physical connection using a cable for example, through USB.

If tethering is done over Wi-Fi, the feature may be branded as a Mobile Hotspot. The Internet-connected mobile device can thus act as a portable wireless access point and router for devices connected to it. ~ wikipedia

How to Tethering on Android ICS Phone

To set tethering on Android ICS you just need to open settings, open more on wireless and networks. Choose tethering and portable hotspot. There is many option, i just select USB tethering that use data cable of mobile phone connected to laptop.

Why i choose using USB Tethering? Because with USB Tethering i can charge my mobile phone. Tethering will spend your battery quickly. So you need plug to power source

Once tethering is enabled we can not use the internet. Because the functions only connect the laptop to the phone. To enable the internet, enable bluetooth tethering. I do not know why it should activate both, a clear under existing bluetooth tethering posts

Sharing this phone's Internet connection.

After you activated that, you can use your android device as modem to connected to the internet. Happy surfing

Add Background Image in Blender

One of the features of Blender that is very helpful in modeling is the background image. With background image we can do the modeling and see reference image at the same time. That way we can trace from reference image.

My friends often asking why background images will not appear in the 3D view. There are many parameters that are used to display the background image, one of which MUST display using Orthogonal view. Here's an explanation of the features that exist on the background image in Blender.

People who use computer, will get experience decreased computer performance. This is natural, like a motor, not more and more comfortable and it's time to service. Required tools used for service. 3 Common Newbie Problem in Blender

As newbie i've got many problem to use Blender. Not just me but my friend too, sometimes I'm lazy to respond the same question from my friend. I want to share there about common problem so i can just give my friend link to answer the question. And I want to share another bit of experience also affect the effectiveness of playing with Blender.

Assume your first time to open a new Blender open lifetime or recent Blender on a computer that has never existed Blender. Yeah like that Blender by default which is not necessarily suitable to all people. It will make us more unforced errors when playing with Blender. Here are some of the problems I experienced frequent and how to cope when they first opened Blender on a computer that I never use.

Modeling Tutorial: Gun Roulette

Modeling tutorial plus gun roulette model download. I just create this model also makes tutorial for anyone in need: D. Immediately, the explanation step by step. The technique I use is to make sure the position of each spin bullets slots are at the right place (simetris). So it will not crash when used to shoot. Follow the tutorial below

First, add a circle with 12 vertices, because roulette that I make will have 6 slots for bullets. Go to edit mode (TAB) and selection of all vertices are then extrude (E) into the scale method (S)
