Burn data into CD or DVD called burning. It takes a special application to do the work. By default, Ubuntu has an application called Brasero. Brasero is an application used for burning data in GNOME. But I think, it's not the best software. Some times i use brasero to burn DVD and i often got error when burn finishing process, error on the imagechecksum. I do not know why. After the error message appears we are required to remove the CD / DVD manually by pressing the eject button. After that I tried to open the data but to no available. I can not open the contents of the DVD / CD.
The fourth Blender Open Movie was release about a week ago. Mango is the code name of the project and the title of movie is Tears of Steel. I think it's great VFX movie done with Blender. It's prove that Blender can be used for VFX Movie pipeline.

Iam studying Multimedia Broadcasting on Electronics Engineering Polytechnic Institute of Surabaya. And now we are on holiday! I've joined MMBAnimation community, and we learn more about animation there. We have done stop motion project before. In this holiday we have a 3D Animation project called "Project Ayam" but, you can translate it with "Chicken Project".
I want share just a little about our community project. We are updating the process on MMBAnimation official blog. You can keep update with our project, but on community project we are using Bahasa Language. If you want to read it, maybe you need to translate using google translate.

Adobe Flash is software for creating 2D animation based vector. It can also used to creating interactive animation or game with action script. But we must pay $$$ to get this sofware. But don't worry, Synfig Studio can replace Adobe Flash for creating 2D animation. Synfig Studio is free open source software and available for Linux, Mac, and Windows user.
If you an artist, i think you can using it for making 2D animation. Because software just a tool not everything. The everythins is an IDEA an a CONCEPT. Want try Synfig Studio? For Ubuntu user you can download the *.deb extension, and for Fedora can download the *.rpm extension
