Create Custom Domain Mail With Blogger and Google Apps II
5:24 AM
After preparation for the email with a custom domain blogger and google apps, now time for us to set up DNS so that the domain can be integrated with the blogger that we want a custom domain. What we need to do is drive nameserver (NS) domain to the hosting that we have. I need to do this because buying a domain and hosting in different places. For domain Iam using IDwebhost, and I used idhostinger for hosting. Here are the steps to redirect a domain nameserver from multiple domains cpanel.
Registering Domain Hosting
Open cpanel hosting then add the url of the website that we point to our own hosting. As I did below. After that we will have a hosting account cpanel again. 1 cpanel used for 1 domain.add the domain to the hosting account |
Redirecting Nameserver
Go to the control panel of the domain that we have bought, then search menu for managing the domain ours. Search menu Modify Name Server, or another menu that point to change the nameservers of the domain we already have seingga lead to hosting what we already have. If you make a purchase domains and hosting at a company, I think no need to transfer the nameservers for a domain are directed to the hosting is in the package.modify domain nameservers in IDwebhost cpanel |
modify the nameservers in MWN cpanel |
After waiting until the process is complete Nameserver replacement. This process takes from 30 minutes - 48 hours, patiently waiting until directed to the hosting domain that we have.
If you do not know the nameserver of hosting that we have, try opening our hosting control panel, find the information associated with the account belongs to us. It will be demonstrated nameserver or IP Server from hosting we have
After switching nameservers, we will learn how to add a custom domain to blogger account. So that we can use the blogger url TLD.
